If you are coming to the Engine Rooms and have some spare time, why not enjoy some of our local sights or restaurants. We’ve hand picked a few our favourites

Roughly 10-15 minutes walk away you will find one of London’s most stunning parks. The Regent’s Park is the largest grass area for sports in Central London and offers a wide variety of activities, as well as an Open Air Theatre, the London Zoo and many cafes and restaurants. Engine Rooms is a 10 minute stroll from Camden Lock’s famous market. Here you will find unusual gifts, and a large selection of handcrafted traditional and contemporary jewellery, designer clothes and accessories to suit any fashion victim!  As well as the market, Camden’s high street offer a wide variety of shops to keep you entertained during a lunch hour or between sessions.
The York & Albany, one of Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants is only 10 minutes walk. With its fantastic seasonal menus, we highly recommend a visit! Polygon Open Space is a stone’s throw away from the Engine Rooms. If you’re feeling like you have a lot of energy to burn, you can try out one of London’s open air gyms and it’s free. Should you wish to take a stroll around our local area, you will find. The statue of Richard Cobden in front of Mornington Crescent Underground station and fantastic architecture between Mornington Crescent and Camden. There are also parks within 5 minutes.
